Hit the creeks for some nice panfish action. Or hit the monocacy with hair jigs or a powerful grub and jig combo. I will be using my trust Rebel Craw fish. Gotta love the classics.

Rainy Days

This was just something I would like to have some opinions on. When its raining do you like to go fishing? When you do, do you have different results? What do you use when your fishing in the rain? It seems me and my friends don't have luck with rain. I just wanna know if you guys do! Leave a comment telling us what your experiences are.

Trout recipe! (just a little something extra)

Hey guys! I don't have to much to talk about in the actual fishing realm so I thought id talk about a trout recipe I really like. You need to have 2 rainbow trout. Then paprika, Serrano peppers, and a tad bit of thyme. First you have to catch 2 rainbows (or buy them if your like that -_-). Then gut them and place them without skin into tinfoil. Rub the filet's with paprika and sprinkle some thyme on top. Then place half of a Serrano seeds and all into each of the filet's. Then the other half's just in the tinfoil. Grill how you prefer them. And wallah! You got some tasty trout! I've used this recipe once and it was pretty good and its fairly simple so its pretty hard to mess up!

Early Season!?

I think that would be appropriate to say! Over here in Maryland its been fairly warm. Not just for a few days or every now and again, but constantly. This has made the water a lot warmer so now some fish are finally starting to bite. Now for bass fishermen this isn't the best news in the world just because bass like it a little warmer, but nether the less its great. Last year for me fish didn't seem to start biting until around LATE APRIL!
But this year I've caught four fish in two trips. Just bluegill but hey there still fish. There pretty big too. Trout fishing is going great too. When I was at Greenbrier state park on Friday a man on the dock caught 5 trout in 15 minutes! This other man caught two smaller bass in 30 minutes also. I only caught one fish myself but I wasn't exactly expecting much for my first run of the year. So I think that its safe to say its become a good start to an extra long season!
